Here’s an interesting idea. Use flash cards to lose weight!
Pretend you are studying for a test and use the 3X5 card method. Write down all the reasons you want to lose weight on flash cards. Read the entire stack every morning. Then pull them out when you are at a low spot in your day or when you know you are going to be tempted. Read them over to yourself as a reminder of what you REALLY want. After all, that pie will be over in a few minutes. A healthy, moveable body will be around and active for a long time.
The idea is that by continually rehearsing what is important, you will be able to instinctively say “no” when temptation comes your way.
