Easing my way into the day. Listening to a special Sleepy Hollow on my favorite Philadelphia based member-supported radio station WXPN on Thanksgiving morning. Usually, the program is on Saturday and Sunday mornings. At noon, I will enjoy another holiday tradition, the airing of Alice’s Restaurant. I know it by heart, having heard it so many times over the years. By then I will be prepping dishes to take to my bestie’s house. Homemade cranberry sauce and riced cauliflower are what I have in mind. Lying under the cozy covers, on a chilly in Philly/brrr Bucks County day, I am filled with an attytood of grattytood (I am a Philly girl after all).

I am thankful for so many experiences and people that tumble into my life on a daily basis.

I am thankful for my son and daughter-in-law and that they are now ensconced in their new home.
