How are the Republicans not capitalizing on the “muscle” of the “Christian Right old guard?” How can they get their support when no one is willing to offer it yet? Isn’t it part of the problem that the Christian leaders can’t make up their mind who to support? Doesn’t that hinder their ability to shape the race?
Right now Christians are fractured into a number of camps and I don’t see us coalescing behind a single candidate until one of the groups prevail. That blunts the impact of any Christian leader coming out in favor of a particular candidate. They are just one more voice in the mix.
