Television producer Al Taylor claims he offered Casey Anthony $1 million for an exclusive TV interview to tell her side of the story in the death of her daughter.

The whole world knows by now Casey Anthony was found not guilty in the case in which her daughter Caylee Anthony was found dead.

Casey Anthony was found guilty, however, of lying to law enforcement officials about her knowledge of the matter.

Taylor claimed, on the Dr. Drew program on CNN Headline News, that he recently met with Anthony and a representative for her at a Palm Springs, CA. hotel.

Taylor said Casey Anthony hedged on the offer supposedly because he also wanted her to submit to a lie detector test at the interview.

Casey Anthony also balked at receiving “just” $50,000 up front instead of $1 million and Taylor said the first words out of her mouth were “where’s the check?”

Taylor’s claim was met with skepticism by Dr. Drew guest attorney Mark Eiglarsh, however. “I’m not buying any of this,” he said before going on to grill the TV producer for specifics on the meeting.

Taylor also said he is batting nemesis Geraldo Rivera of FOX News to get the first interview with Casey Anthony.
