I have to admit I missed or avoided most of the Larry the Cable Guy phenomenon of recent years, except of course for his famous phrase:

“Git-R-Done”.

Larry deserves credit for being more than just a one-trick pony though, racking up five gold-certified records and voicing a main character in the smash-hit movie Cars.

I was reminded of his accomplishments on a Saturday morning profile on Biography channel.

It originally aired in 2009, but the piece served as a good reminder of another “Only in America” story.

But Larry seems to know that, and appreciate it as he indicated on a recent visit to Sean Hannity’s radio show.

Good for him, we could use a few laughs these days.
