It seems like an odd partnership at first glance, but NBC and Dick Cheney are teaming up for tons of programming in the next couple of days.
The former vice president’s NBC onslaught started Thursday with a snippet of an interview he did with reporter Jamie Gangel.
Cheney was never one to back down as perhaps the most powerful VP in U.S. history and he certainly won’t in interviews, either.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyHCXpabLvcCheney is a man of few words but no regrets about how he served the country under President George W. Bush.
But while W has remained silent after his presidency, Dick Cheney has decided to open up.
“Heads are going to explode,” Cheney said of the book, In My Time, in which he reportedly reveals policy differences with other top White House officials.
NBC will air a Dateline segment on Cheney Monday night and will have him on the Today show Tuesday morning.
Those who respect and appreciate the former VP will enjoy are rare glimpse into one of the most powerful figures in our history.
Those who think they hate the man should watch a straight shooter, no pun intended, in action.
