A former New Ager who left the occult and witchcraft now shares her love of Jesus with the public. Internet personality and writer Tailah Scroggins recently shared her remarkable journey from the occult into Christian ministry with CBN’s Faithwire, specifically about her belief in the importance and power of deliverance.

At the red carpet premiere of “Nefarious,” a new horror film about spiritual warfare and possession, Scroggins said, “Deliverance ministry is the ministry of Jesus, casting out demons. Deliverance was huge in my testimony. God freed me from so much.” Scroggins called herself an “ex-New Ager” who was an astrologer until she found Jesus Christ.

Scroggins said, “Jesus picked me up out of all of that and set me free from depression and anxiety. God can free you, and He’s what you’ve been searching for. That hole in your heart, a relationship isn’t going to fill it, drugs aren’t going to fill it, going to all the false spirituality. Jesus is what you’re searching for.”

Now, Scroggins is using her journey to spiritual liberation to help inspire other young people, saying, “I’m so passionate about deliverance ministry. That’s what I do online and in person.” She also said that she was excited about attending the “Nefarious” premiere, saying that spiritual warfare is a hot topic that should be addressed.

She said, “I’m so glad the church is having this conversation.” Scroggins does most of her ministry online and said she saw many young people on social media during the pandemic struggling with hopelessness and depression. That’s when she started posting videos on TikTok and other platforms, and people responded quickly.

Scroggins explained, “Millions of people started watching the videos and writing in and saying, ‘I threw my crystals away. I threw my tarot cards away. I’m free from depression. It’s really cool to see what the Lord is doing through online ministry.”

According to Scroggins, she grew up in a Christian household with a close connection to Jesus. She said,  I was raised in a Christian home, but I never personally had a relationship with Jesus until my teenage years. The more I fell in love with Jesus, the more I wanted to write songs for Him.” However, she started to stray from her faith during her college years, causing depression and anxiety.

Scroggins continued, “At my lowest point, I cried out to Jesus, and He met me in my tiny college apartment, and I rededicated my life to Him then and there. He delivered me from depression and anxiety and filled me with peace and hope. The pain and healing process that I went through during that time has equipped me with the tools necessary to walk others out of darkness and into His light.”

Continue to pray for Tailah Scroggins as she goes through her journey.
