This type of story is why I created a “stranger than fiction” category on this blog in the first place – these are images of a Palestinian rally against the Separation Wall, in which the Palestinians dressed up as Na’vi from the movie Avatar.

The protestors are even referred to as “Na’vi men” throughout the gallery. And in a strange but expected nod to the movie plot, they even got tear-gassed.
