Rosanne Cash is what we like to call a “friend of Beliefnet.” Throughout the years we’ve admired her music, and we’ve also been fortunate enough to get to know her as a person. Last year, after recording the album Black Cadillac, which dealt with the deaths of her mother, Vivian Distin, her father, Johnny Cash, and her stepmother, June Carter Cash, she opened her heart to Beliefnet to create this beautiful multimedia meditation.
Rosanne used her music to help her cope with a difficult time in her life, and we’re saddened to hear that she is now facing a health crisis of her own. She will soon be undergoing elective brain surgery. Although the procedure is not life-threatening, we all know how stressful and frightening it can be to spend time in the hospital.
We’ve created this prayer circle where you can send Rosanne your hopes, prayers, and words of comfort. Please join us in thinking of Rosanne during this time in her life.
