When the new Beliefnet community launches later this month, there will be dozens of ways you or your group can use the site. Here are a few ways you can take advantage of the new tools to start fan clubs for your favorite musicians or other artists.
Beliefnet can help you connect to other fans, or if you’re a musician, keep your fans up-to-date on your albums, tour schedules, and more. Here’s what to do:
Create a Profile:
If you haven’t already, create a member profile on Beliefnet. Once you have a profile, you can connect to other Beliefnet members, read blogs, post in discussions, and enjoy full benefits of membership.
Fill in Your Interests
Do you buy every Rebecca St. James album the day it comes out? List “Rebecca St. James” (or whichever artist you prefer) as an interest in your profile. Then you can search for other members who have also listed her as an interest and see if they’d be interested in joining a fan club.
Go Multimedia
Post videos of your favorite artist from YouTube, or try out your own vocal chords and post audio clips of your own.
Add a Feed
If you decide to expand your fan club, check out our Entertainment feeds. You can get quotes, blog posts, and more added to your group page or your individual page.
Stay tuned to Beliefnet for more information about launching your Prayer Group on the site in the coming weeks. In the meantime, make sure you sign up to be notified when the new site launches.
