I hope that these exercises have shown you the beginnings of a roadmap to fearlessness. One of the benefits of sharing your fears with others is the reminder that fear is universal–we can all relate to moments of fear, just as we can all learn ways to overcome our fears and keep moving forward. Part of the beauty for me in writing “On Becoming Fearless” was not only sharing my stories with others, but meeting so many courageous women in the process: from Kathy Eldon to Diane Keaton, we are all finding ways to be fearless.

Remember, fearlessness is a muscle–the more you practice using it, the stronger you will become. When we know who we are, we can move past our fears and self-doubts. And as we work toward the things we want and believe in, the world will become a better place.
