HOLLAH! Today’s noisy Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini is calling my name, and it’s telling me to stop chattering, be quiet and sit still so I can hear my own inner voice. You should listen up, too, because it’s telling you to do the same thing!

This Full Moon is in my home sign of Gemini, but we’ll all feel the same information overload effect. It serves as a good reminder to simplify, especially during this hectic time of year.

For those of you who are constantly moving and shaking like me, this Moon will give us a little push to slow down, take a time out and plot the next steps carefully instead of recklessly.

I always find it easier to think and plan for the future when I’m alone in a quiet place where I can contemplate where I’ve been and where I want to go without distractions. Maybe I’ll let this Moon give me a little push to do just that, and I’ll go on a nature walk or just cuddle up on the couch and turn off the TV so I can space out (in a good way).

This Lunar Eclipse is also about letting go of the past so you can work toward the future, and what better timing for such a lunation than as we approach the end of the year. If we can cut the mental clutter and start thinking clearly about 2013 now, we’ll be fully recharged by New Year’s Day.
