BANG! I’m excited about all the fireworks this week, but I’m not just talking about the Fourth of July. Many of Astrology’s key planets are acting up, too — and it might be a rocky road, but there are plenty of good times mixed in, too.
Most of this week’s cosmic pain points happen early in the week — most notably, on Monday, July 1 (a.k.a. today!), when Venus in Leo will square off with Saturn in Scorpio, which could suck the joy out of our love lives and cause financial concerns.
Also today, the Sun in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn, stirring up power struggles. Astrologer Maria DeSimone says we can expect today to be pretty stressful, and we may feel unappreciated or even pushed around by our superiors.
I guess I’m going to lay low today and focus on the good bits about this week instead –because fortunately if we can ride this out patiently things will shape up by the weekend.
The Fourth of July holiday on Thursday is still bumpy, and there’s a chance that unexpected and jarring events could take us by surprise (be careful with those firecrackers, people!), but by Sunday we’ll be sitting pretty again.
Sunday is when love planet Venus in Leo makes a trine with Uranus in Aries, which is also about shocks and surprises — but sweet ones! This time it’s your love or sex life that could see fireworks … BANG!
