I read a study that concluded people are basically driven by two fears in life:

1. Not having enough; and
2. Not being enough.

On the one hand we fear not having enough things in life to be happy; but on the other hand we fear that our lives will be wasted by not being all we can be – not living up to our potential.

In between those two points are the building blocks of life through which our decisions are guided and our creations, including ourselves, are manifest.
