When I’m out and about, I often reach down and pick up garbage. Today my daughter asked me: “Why do you always do that? Why do you pick up garbage?”
I thought about it for a minute, and said: “Because it’s something small I can do to help the world. And if we all do small things, big things will happen.”
She said: “Huh!”
I love being a parent. I especially love the “huh” moments.
