Our son attends Learning Rx (a program to assist brain functioning), and on my way there with him I was thinking about how great it is that someone had the initiative to start up this franchise. Without it there would be one less option available to help our son with his learning issues.

That is what is so great about Capitalism. It is not one person or unit creating; it is a process that empowers each and all of us to create. It’s a process for unlimited growth and creativity by allowing and incentivizing each of us to implement change.

It got me thinking that maybe that is what life is all about. God as a single entity could certainly create, but what if it divided itself into an infinite number of pieces and set them free to create on their own. What if life is a process set up by God for unlimited growth and creativity through allowing and incentivizing each of us to implement change?

Could it be that Capitalism is just a microcosm of the life process itself – empowering and incentivizing the implementation of change for the benefit of the larger whole?
