I know the Diocese of Brooklyn has been given a grand total of three (3) tickets per parish. My parish held a drawing to determine who would get them — and then selected a few other lucky people as standbys.

And no, I’m not one of them. Which is fine with me. Like almost every other event of this magnitude, you see it much better on TV.
