Sunday, we’ll be marking World Marriage Day, sponsored by the Worldwide Marriage Encounter. Our parish will be hosting a special mass for the event, and Your Humble Blogger will be preaching for the occasion. (Homily to come!)

In anticipation of that, and Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d post what has become one of the most popular (if not THE most popular) song being heard at weddings: “The Prayer.”

It’s rare to hear it done well — it’s not exactly “We’ve Only Just Begun” — but you won’t hear a more stirring rendition than this, by Celine Dion and Josh Groban. Over the top? Of course! It’s the only way to do it. Enjoy!
