My pastor has elected to preach at Midnight Mass, so I won’t be burning up my Mac tonight, polishing up a homily of my own.

But if anyone’s curious, or really REALLY bored, here’s what I had to say in years past:

2007.

2008.

Merry Christmas — and good luck and prayerful good wishes to all priests, bishops and deacons who will be taking part in the Christmas mass marathon tomorrow!

As for me (and the Deacon’s Wife) we’ll be flying south, to Maryland, for a few days (Christmas is a great day to travel, by the way).

Meantime, may we never forget this beautiful, heart-stopping truth: Emmanuel.  God is with us.

God bless us, everyone.
