Malaysia got its first new permanent deacon in 30 years yesterday. As previously noted, he’s one of two in the country, and only 34 years old. The local paper has a complete write up, with the happy news that six others will be following in his footsteps. Congratulations, Deacon Sherman Kuek! Ad multos annos!
