From time-to-time, I like to share a prayer.  This one is in honor of my Father-In-Law who passed away yesterday.

God thank you for everything, but that’s so much.
Thank you for the limits, the specifics, in my life.
I appreciate the wonderful friendship and fatherly advice, from you,
From my Father in Heaven,
From my fathers on Earth.

Running up against limits,
Sometimes running out,
Of time, of patience, of resources,
I realize that I too, am limited.
Yet I am loved, despite my limits and limitations.

So, a limited thank you for the life I have here and now.
Thank you for the time I’ve had,
And the time to come.
Limited as it is, lovingly infinite with You,
Who are Limitless. Now and forever,
Unto the Ages of Ages.
