The next time you are about to overeat, just stop. Stop and remind
yourself that you’re about to overeat–something that you really do not
want to do. Be conscious. That’s the first step in stopping the problem
right in its tracks.
Once conscious, remind yourself how important being healthy and losing weight
is to you. Then you can do what you really want. You can decide for
yourself whether to eat that extra amount, or not. You can become aware
again that you have a choice.
The point is to make the right choice. Make the best choice for good
nutrition and a healthy, fit body. Get conscious, and exercise your
freedom to choose.
If you find you cannot stop, or choose to stop, ask God for help.
