Awhile back I wrote about cutting portion sizes as a way to save, and a way to lose weight without dieting. It’s a method that really works! All you do is have half the size portion of what you would normally consume, and eat it twice as slowly. That way, you can have what you want, feel satisfied, and eat less of it.
Just cut the portion in half, and immediately remove it from your sight. Get it in a container or wrapped up and stored in the freezer or refrigerator for another meal. If you are restaurant dining, ask the server to put it in a take home bag and give it to you on the way out.
Theresa, a regular reader and commenter agreed, “…If you don’t see the food you don’t get hungry for it. Immediately place the extra portion in a take out container and place it out of sight. It is easy and it really does work!”
