This recipe for yummy bean dip is a real find! I think you’ll love it, at least I do and so do my family and friends. It’s so easy, it’s amazing, it’s also incredibly easy on the pocketbook.
1 can black or brown beans – most any kind will do (with juice, don’t drain)
¼ white or yellow onion
dash of Tabasco or hot sauce
lemon wedge
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Mix just a few seconds, until the dip is nice and creamy, but not over mixed.
This makes a great dip for cut-up vegetables, or low-fat/low sodium crackers, or tortilla chips.
1 tablespoon is about 30-40 calories, just so you know.
