If you want to lose weight, eat healthier food and use your body. Don’t bother buying expensive vitamins or “appetite suppressants,” or magic weight loss pills or formulas – I don’t think they work. There is another recent study released a few weeks ago: when it comes to increasing one’s metabolism (for various reasons, including weight loss) and to prevent exercise, taking vitamins C &E may actually be counterproductive. Read the New York Times article about that here.
For years, many experts and physicians have taught us that if we’re eating healthy foods in a balanced array, there’s really no need for additional vitamins or supplements.
