Dear Jesus, Dear God, I have been sad my whole life
That people betrayed You.
That the Son of God, who brought us so much joy
And love of God, would be offered for crucifixion.

Dear Christ, the Annointed One,
Who sacrificed His human existence for us,
Who transcended death and proved it irrelevant.
I accept Your gift of ultimate love.
