Usually I agree with the judges on American Idol, but this week I thought things were a little bit dicey.

Chrystal Bowersox, who you already know is a favorite of mine, was again fantastic and the judges agreed. Her performance was passionate, intense, and the gospel sensitivity was really not only entertaining, but even inspiring.

In Lee DeWyze I heard a leader: he has a terrific voice and he is becoming more and more confident. He’s on his way to stardom.

Michael returned this week with a vengeance. He performed like a real man. His heartfelt emotion was sincere, after almost having to leave last week. His vocals were right in tune and interesting. I’m so happy that he’s still a contender. The judges wisely used their one season “save” to let him go on despite a low vote last week.

I still just don’t understand Siobahn. While she looked really cool and even hot, her vocals were great, but she came off looking like kind of a karaoke dental hygienist. Not that there’s anything wrong with karaoke or dental hygene! I love both!

Speaking of strange things. Strangest reviews from the judges were for Tim. He was so pitchy! He comes off really fake, I think. He needs to be voted off. The judges loved him. What gives?

Katie is cute, and sings well enough, but (can we talk) I think she is just plain boring.
Andrew will probably go. But I like him. He’s just not fabulous enough. The judges and I agree.

Did YOU vote? Who is your favorite? Who should be the next American Idol? Please comment!
