This morning, I’m taking my regular dance class again. I am a regular for many years now, and just love it, but this summer it’s been on an abbreviated schedule as our teacher, the glorious Naomi, has been traveling a lot.  She’s presenting her choreography, and giving classes all over the place this summer.  I’m proud of her.
Naomi asked us to commit months in advance, as to which classes we would definitely take.  Summer, too, is slow for dance classes; particularly this summer.
So I committed to every class that would be held.  Like an eager beaver, I signed up on that list, with every intention.
Now, it’s time to go, and… and….hmmm.  It’d be nice to just so some yoga later at home.  No.  NO!  I committed!
So off I go to the dance class.  The hard work is just getting there.  I love the “being there.” The warm ups open my joints.  The 30 minutes of aerobic dance steps will limber my muscles.  The free-form improve and dancing across the floor two-by-two, then one-by-one will really make me overjoyed.
