You do not have to instantly go for broke with exercise in order to lose weight and get fit. Just do a little active, enjoyable movement every day.
Start by walking 10 minutes a day if you’ve been sedentary for a long time. Or play a fun game a couple of times a week, in addition to walking. Just do something every day.
Effective fitness is about daily consistency, not occasional exertion. It’s about making a new, enjoyable habit that you can’t live without (because you can’t!). In the many years I’ve been working with God to manage my weight problem, I’ve grown to really look forward to (and truly need) being active every day. I need movement to feel good and stay well. Some days I need less, and it honestly takes me a little push to get started.
