Dr. Norris J. Chumley’s Sardine Salad

1 can sardines in oil (I like the “Mediterranean” style best.)
1 tsp light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon pickle relish
1 tbsp diced onions

Mix all together in one step.  Spread on one slice of bread or half a bagel.

This one is high in Omega oils – the ones good for your heart.  If you want to have less fat, skip the mayonnaise entirely.
