Have you ever thought the one reason why you’re overweight, unhealthy, or struggling with problems may be that your behaviors are causing you to suffer? I don’t mean to blame yourself – perhaps you cannot help it.
I only suggest some reflection on the cause of your personal problems as a step towards seeing the connection between emotions, feelings, needs, behaviors and actions. I am suggesting that you accept some responsibility. Be totally honest. Right now. Accept responsibility that you must be doing something wrong: eating too much, not moving enough, following impossible diets, expecting too much too fast, consuming unhealthy foods – it could be a lot of things.
Accepting responsibility means saying to yourself and others, “I have made some mistakes, and poor choices.” It doesn’t mean that you have total power and control. It means you’re admitting that you’re human.
