Today, I want to suggest a spiritual cleansing technique you can do without getting wet! You can do this anytime, anywhere. It’s a variation on an ancient Chinese practice.
Stand up tall, loosen your body by shaking it out a little bit, bend
your knees and lean forward slightly. Starting at the top of your body,
take a deep breath in and as you release it, picture in your mind water
flowing over you and releasing the tension in your body. Warm, soothing,
crystal clear water releasing all of your fears, worries, and tension.
First your head, then neck and shoulders, along the arms, down your
torso, down to your legs and toes. With each breath, there’s a new
wonderful stream of water flowing over your entire body.
If you don’t have time or it’s not the right place, do this for a few
seconds any time and anywhere.
