Just because you may have time off today, and want to be really good to yourself, don’t abuse your body by overeating or bingeing. Be good to yourself by eating really well.
Stay on your food plan today, and all weekend. Keep the vegetables up, and the carbs and fatty meats and dairy low. Have fruit instead of fattening pastries, candy, cookies, cakes, crackers, and breads.
Bake an apple and drizzle it with honey. Sautee some pears and spoon over unsweetened applesauce. Have a fruit salad, instead of an ice-cream sundae.
Make that “Greens Gratin” recipe I gave you the other day – here it is.
Invite some friends to go for a hike or long walk. Get up out of the chair, turn off the TV and play!
Most of all, ask God for inspiration in your eating and being today.
