With the news of the severe earthquake and tsunami off the coast of Japan, I am moved to pray for the victims and for the survivors. Please join me.

God,
I witness a small part of your infinite Creation and know that nature is both constructive and destructive at times. I don’t like the destructive parts, but I choose to follow Your will and Your magnificent design of nature.

I pray now that you will continue to intercede with Your infinite grace and have mercy on those in need.

I pray for a quick remedy for those who are wounded or suffering. I pray for the families and loved ones who have losses. I pray that we quickly build anew, restore and refortify, and compassionately tend to other’s needs.

Most of all, dear God, may this disaster cause people to seek your infinite love, peace and healing.
