The best way I know to lose weight is to ask God for help.
Let go of all the worries, fears, and anxieties
you may have, which may be causing you to over eat and be sedentary.
Give them to God.
Look around you at God’s creation and remember the awesome power that
set this miraculous world in motion.
The power and love that shaped your
life is waiting to help you with this challenge.
You will be shown what to eat. Don’t worry. You will be motivated to
stretch and open up your tired, hurting muscles and joints. Don’t
worry. You will begin to experience a new-found joy of being, which your
creator, God, will inspire you with.
Say this simple prayer, along with me:
“God, please help me. I have tried and tired to lose weight, get healthier and be my best. But I cannot do it. I have tried everything, and I just eat and eat, or consume the wrong things. I need your guidance and strength, God.
I need your motivation to get out and move my body. I have put so much weight on, I just can’t seem to get up enough energy. God, I need your powerful energy and motivation.
My mind is so full of difficult thoughts, God, I just can’t seem to focus on doing the right thing to get healthy. Please give me the clarity of mind, and the purity of Spirit, to stay focused and do your will — only what is best for me.
God, thank you for this life. Thank you for your Grace.”
