The word “creed,” or credere seems derived from cor dare — to give one’ s heart. The Christian Science textbook, Science and Health offers, not a list a beliefs but a list of 6 tenets that can help to carefully cultivate an attitude of commitment. The 6th tenet is:

“And we solemnly promise to be spiritually aware, to pray for that Mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus, to do to others as we would have them do to us, and to be merciful, just, and pure.”

My comments:

• We can recognize divine Mind, just as Christ Jesus did.
• To determine how I want to treat others, I can ask myself, How would I like to be treated?

It takes more than prayer alone to “do” to others.
