Out on the job, I spontaneously came across some news that seemed bad, then instantly good.

I was talking with the director of the local animal humane society. I asked if she received the picture of my neighbor, Adam, and the cat he was fostering from the society. The director knew exactly who I was talking about. Adam started fostering Mustafa, the coolest cat ever a couple of months ago. But, the director told me that Adam had returned Mustafa because he lives in a microhouse and the hair was a bit much.

I know Adam and how much he loved Mustafa. I knew the decision to stop fostering must have been terribly difficult. I was sad for a few seconds after hearing the news, but the director smiled and said, “Adam filled out the paperwork and left. A nice couple came in a few hours later and Mustafa was still in a cage on the counter in front. They saw him and adopted him.”

My joy returned. It was as if Adam knew in his heart that the nice couple was ready for Mustafa.

Though it can be hard to trust love, I believe it’s seamless. We can put our love out into the universe for the good of everyone in mind.

Quoting from science & religion to God, “We can trust the unseen God, the Father-Mother of us all to guide us to responsible healing. ”
