But what about Kirk Cameron? From The Hollywood Reporter: Nicolas Cage is in talks to star in the reboot of Left Behind, the faith-based, action-packed book and movie series about the End Times. Paul Lalonde, the writer and producer of the original set of movies, and John Patus, who worked on the final entry 2005’s Left Behind: World at War, have written a screenplay and are hoping to take the movie series in a more mainstream direction and are eyeing a budget in the $15 million range.
