On Film: Mother Teresa: No Greater Love, a documentary on the remarkable life of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of her death, had its world premiere at The Vatican on August 31st. Its U.S. premiere happens this Sunday (9/11) at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine (3900 Harewood Rd NE, Washington, DC 20017) at 2:30 PM ET. The event will be preceded by a noon Mass celebrated by Cardinal Wilton Cardinal Gregory at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Immediately following the Mass, Cardinal Gregory will bless and dedicate the Mother Teresa Institute.

Produced by the Knights of Columbus, filmed on five continents and featuring unprecedented access to both institutional archives and the apostolates of the Missionaries of Charity, Mother Teresa: No Greater Love chronicles the life of Mother Teresa and the profound spiritual and physical impact she and the Missionaries of Charity have had — and continue to have — on Catholics and non-Catholics alike throughout the world. Fathom Events will release the film in theaters throughout the United States on Monday, October 3rd and Tuesday, October 4th as part of its Fathom Events’ Saint Series, a curated collection of films chronicling the lives of Catholic saints.

On Stage: After three years of development, the Fellowship for Performing Arts is unveiling C.S. Lewis on Stage: Further Up & Further In, a multimedia theatrical experience showcasing the wit and wisdom of the Chronicles of Narnia creator.

“When Lewis moved from vigorous debunker to believer, it wasn’t obvious he would become the most influential Christian writer of the past hundred years, notes star and playwright Max McLean. The production will utilize C.S. Lewis’ own words, startling imagery created by state-of-the-art immersive theatrical technology and evocative music to explore Lewis’ deep insights and add to his conversation story that was previously recounted in the nationwide hit play C.S. Lewis on Stage: The Most Reluctant Convert.

The award-winning creative team is led by director Ken Denison (The Lion King, associate producer) and features a set design be Kelly Tighe (National Tour, Cats), an original score by John Gromada (Broadway’s The Trip to Bountiful), visual imagery by Harry Feiner (Off-Broadway’s Paradise Lost) and lighting by Geoffrey Fishburn (Off-Broadway’s Martin Luther on Trial).

The Gospel Music Association has named Erica Campbell and Chris Tomlin as the hosts for the 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards. The event will air live on from Nashville via TBN and the TBN app on Tuesday, October 18th at 8:00 PM with and encore 10:00 PM ET. Additional encores will run at the same times on Friday, October 28th.
