A new version of Steven Curtis Chapman’s Don’t Lose Heart featuring Mitchell Tenpenny is set to release February 17. The new recording follows Chapman’s surprise appearance this past Friday night during Tenpenny’s sold-out show at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. In the video they are heard discussing the power of the song as they are joined by Tenpenny’s mother who is currently battling breast cancer. 

“This is one of those God-orchestrated stories,” Chapman says. “I met Mitchell while filming my I Am Second video. It led to a collaboration version of Don’t Lose Heart that we hope will encourage anyone who needs to hear it!”
Fans will get to hear Don’t Lose Heart along with more songs from his Still album, along with many of his past hits when Chapman hits the road this spring on his 24-city Still tour kicking off March 2 in Springfield, Missouri. For the most updated tour schedule click here.

Fox News Books will release The Love Stories of the Bible Speak by Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream on March 28th. The book is a follow-up to The Women of the Bible Speak and The Mothers and Daughters of the Bible Speak which topped The New York Times bestseller lists in 2021 and 2022 respectively. The third installment will reportedly reveal new dimensions of the golden rule of Christianity: to love God and your neighbor. In commenting on the book announcement, Bream (who I spoke with about her first book in 2021 and her second in 2022) says “There are so many inspirational and informative stories from the Bible that are relatable today and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to share these meaningful works with our readers. The past two books explored the strength of women, and now I am thrilled to share this new volume where we focus on relationships, redefining the way we look at love, loss and hardships.”

Trinity Broadcasting Network, Fathom Events, and Impact Productions will debut The Journey: A Music Special from Andrea Bocelli in theaters nationwide for four nights only on April 2nd, April 3rd, April 4th and April 6th. The musical documentary follows world-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli and his wife Veronica as they travel through Italy’s beautiful terrain on horseback to complete parts of the unforgettable Via Francigena — a historical pilgrimage in which Christians journey to Rome to worship at grand cathedrals and visit the burial sites of revered saints and apostles. Ticket information and theater locations are available at the Fathom Events website (participating theaters are subject to change).

Finally, Lifetime will debut Pride: A Seven Deadly Sins Story on  Saturday, April 8th at 8:00 PM ET. Executive produced by T.D. Jakes, the new movie is the latest in the cable network’s successful Seven Deadly Sins series of films. Previous entries have included episodes on Lust, Envy, Wrath and Greed. So, five down, two to go?
