So often in our days and nights we forget the truth about who we are.  We need a reminder that Love always remains the answer.  I am as sure of this as I am that the sun rises every morning.

For me  Love is my mantra.

When I was going through a particularly challenging time, early in my process of mastering this loving energy that is so present in all of our days I heard Chris Rice sing Love is gonna break through and it enforced the beauty of that which we all understand…

My heart pounds with a thunder

I stop and wonder

what should we do with life’s surprises.

Everyday the sun rises on us

Like a swing set in the grave yard

like a bloom in the desert sand

Look at my trembling hands

 

It hits me like lightning

Love must keep fighting

 

Somehow every time

Love is gonna break through

 

All of us are beautiful in our expressions and our daily exploits moving in one society.  This day is one to remember Love is Gonna Break Through.

PS.  I found this performance of Chris singing the song on Youtube and even though it is recorded by someone in the audience and the quality of the video is questionable.  The sound, the intimacy and the purpose and power of this truthful soulful song sung by this man is beautifully rendered.
