I was listening to a podcast yesterday. An interesting discussion about faith and the arts hosted by the International Arts Movement in New York. While the content of the interview was fascinating, it was a question from the audience that caught my attention. It also stumped the speaker, who needed to take a moment to consider his answer. The question was simple.
“What is the worst thing that ever happened to you that eventually became the best thing that ever happened to you?”
What a question, I thought. How many times have I harbored angst over something, only to eventually learn that the misstep, bad decision or even bad behavior propelled me forward toward something better – even if I had to walk through a challenge to find it.
So how about you? “What is the worst thing that ever happened to you that eventually became the best thing that ever happened to you?” Would love to hear your thoughts.
