At Valentine’s Day a woman’s fancy turns to thoughts of chocolate. Where I come from, chocolate is a health food (turns out, science agrees!). So what are your favorites?
Here are my current favies–Green & Blacks organic caramel and almond milk chocolate bars, Lake Champlain (made in Vermont!) dark chocolate peppermint crunch, and a big honkin’ 62% cacao beauty from Scharffen Berger.
Though I’m mostly a break-off-a-piece-and-chomp chocolate eater, I can’t resist baking with it too, and used the Scharffen Berger this week to make these itsy-bitsy chocolate cookies from Heidi Swanson’s fabulous recipe.
