BookLawn.jpgRemember when we were in school and we got lists of books we had to have read by September?  Invisible Man, Siddhartha, As I Lay Dying–some years the list was longer than others, some years (oy, Faulkner) were more challenging than others.  But every summer, I read.

So here, at the official start of summer, reading is on my mind.  And I admit to feeling a little stuck.  My reading habits for the past couple of months have been re-treads of old, fun favorites–“The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood” and “The DaVinci Code”–and a delicious novel or two–the best being “The Last Chinese Chef” by Nicole Mones.

Fabulous, and always satisfying, but I have no pile of summer-reads waiting for me to plow through.  Do you?  I’d love some inspiration for either old favorites or new goodies.

Happy summer reading, everyone!
