Eeeehn! Have you yawned yet this morning? Yawning is a reflex, sort of like a Control-Alt-Delete for the brain and the body. When you yawn, you inhale deeply and oxygenate your blood. You also stretch open your ears and gain brief access to that TMJ jaw joint that gives so many of us tightness and trouble. Good things, all.
I came across this cute YouTube video from a guy who thinks he can make you yawn, right now. I confess that I didn’t yawn during the video (probably because I was concentrating so much), but within a minute afterwards, I was seized by 3 consecutive big yawny yawns.
