I traveled to New York early last Tuesday morning for a visit to the Beliefnet offices (hi, everyone!) and to join in the farewell celebration for Steve Waldman, the company’s inimitable co-founder.

Whenever I fly into New York City early in the morning, I thank God that I work at home.  Among the other reasons for this gratitude is that I very rarely have to encounter rush hour, not to mention NYC rush hour, not to mention NYC rush hour in a sweaty break-neck cab ride from LaGuardia airport.

Rush hour can take many forms, though.  Maybe you rush through your shower because you’re afraid you’ll get late.  Maybe you rush breakfast and eat and commute at the same time.

What’s your relationship with rush hour?  How do you cope?
