You might sometimes want to wash that man right out of your hair, but what are you putting in your hair these days?  Winter weather–read: dry city–has set in, and from scalp to tip, that can leave one’s tresses limp and upsettingly straw-like.

Lately, I’ve started using a leave-in detangler by John Masters Organics that I picked up at my local Whole Foods.  It contains grapefruit–maybe my favorite winter scent–soy protein, wheat amino acids, coconut oil, and neroli, a bitter orange oil that has a similar scent to bergamot (you may know bergamot from Earl Gray tea….).  It smells great, and my hair is as shiny and smooth as is possible in winter.

What are your favorite winter hair-care products?
