Just this morning as I was lying in savasana at the end of yoga class (the chill-out corpse pose that allows you to integrate the active poses), I kept catching myself thinking about coffee and work and a friend’s email. And being like, “Hi, come back to the stillness.”

Which is essentially what meditation and yoga are all about–returning what’s really happening right now, climbing out of our crazy brains and settling into reality, which, as Byron Katie says, “Is always kinder than our thoughts about it.”

So it was awesome to see this hilarious video on the Yoga Dork blog, created by our friends at the Social Workout blog. Apparently I’m not the only one with wandery-mind. Check out what’s really going on when the teacher says to get quiet (think: “mashed potatoes”).
