Just in time for the beginning of spring, Huffington Post published a great feature on “guerrilla gardening,” the practice of sneaking living, lovely things into otherwise ignored spaces like the blighted dirt on many road medians or under urban trees.

The tips and videos in their feature come from Richard Reynolds, the British guerrilla whose website guerrillagardening.org is a treasure trove of the hows, whens, and whys of guerrilla gardening.

This video shows that he comes by his subversive tendencies naturally–his 93 year-old grandmother’s daily constitutional involves picking up trash in the nooks and crannies of her neighborhood.  See what happens when Richard and his grandmother head out to commit some green anarchy!
