A friend’s kitty cat, an orangey love named Pilot, had his flame go out this weekend after he munched on an innocent looking Easter Lily plant.
Apparently the plants are incredibly poisonous to cats–every little bit of them, even the water in the pan. Pi died of total kidney failure very quickly. This also goes for those pretty Peace Lily plants. So this Easter season, keep a lookout for the ubiquitous flora and steer them far clear of your feline friends.
